ROBOTIC HARD

FLOOR CLEANER

SCIRID

ROBOTIC INFECTION DETERRANT (RID)

There are over 150,000 scrubber dryers sold each year across the EU. The majority of these products are used on hard floors. These floors require active cleaning with a mixture of abrasion coupled with prescribed chemicals. The majority of cleaners use contact time and particulate uptake to demonstrate efficiency.

90% reduction in water and chemical usage

The RID also cleans in a very efficient and methodical manner, delivering an audit report of exactly where it has been, time of operation, area covered and time taken. The cleaning function is entirely new and has patent and full IP registration. GB1510373.2

To commercialise the product we are seeking external funding.

SCIRID represents a highly attractive investment opportunity.

Lower cost and easy to install and operate

The commercial floor-care market has many cleaning standards but, NONE offer proof or demonstrable evidence at any stage that the cleaning activity has been carried out. Scirid Ltd has spent the past five years developing the RID.

SCIRID was born

The target markets for the RID are facility management (FM) groups. A major area of FM operation is commercial offices and healthcare. The NHS is in serious financial difficulty. For the year 2010/2011 it paid out £5.5 Billion in out of court settlements for patient claims. Of these claims, over £1.8 Billion was for cleanliness negligence. The HSE report similar financial claims made against commercial groups due to slips and falls on wet or dirty floors.

Audit trail of work done

The patented belt cleaning system leaves floors clean and dry, without destroying the floor surface. It provides a cloud based total audit trail of what and where it has cleaned, the amount of cleaning product used and provides proof of job done within specified areas. The ability to provide a full audit trail and proof of cleaning is an industry first.

RID

RID is safe, ready for prototype manufacture and testing and has all the safety elements pre-scheduled into its design, construction, function and operation.

Software systems Scitrack and Scilight

Scitrack can thus be viewed across the architecture of ANY building by creating a very simple three-dimensional grid pattern. Each room or area being clearly identified by an RFID allocated tag.

Scilight is therefore the three-dimensional expansion of the system to offer additional task requirements to be implemented along with the scheduled task times.
